To ensure your Berrycat™ Heritage Kit survives every victory celebration and stays in peak condition for the '26 summer tour, please follow these professional care guidelines:
1. The Golden Rule: Cold Wash Only
Always wash your jersey in cold water (30°C / 86°F or below). High temperatures can damage the breathable micro-mesh fibers and cause the vintage-style prints to fade or peel over time.
2. Turn It Inside Out
Before tossing it in the machine, flip your jersey inside out. This protects the embroidery, badges, and fabric texture from friction against other clothes or the agitator.
3. Gentle Cycle & Mild Detergent
Use a gentle cycle and a mild, liquid detergent.

DO NOT use bleach.

DO NOT use fabric softeners (they can clog the moisture-wicking pores of the mesh).
4. Air Dry Only (The "Never Dryer" Rule)
NEVER put your jersey in a tumble dryer. The intense heat of a dryer is the #1 enemy of athletic fabrics.

Hang dry or lay flat in a shaded area.

Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent color fading.
5. Ironing Tips
If you must iron out a few wrinkles, use the lowest heat setting and always iron the jersey inside out. Better yet, use a handheld steamer for a safe, crisp look.
